Children begin the service with the whole congregation and then head out to Sunday School after the second hymn and offertory. On Communion Sundays, they rejoin us to take part and deepen their understanding of this special part of worship.

Each week, the children enjoy creative, Bible-based activities - crafts, stories, and interactive sessions that help them explore faith in a fun and age-appropriate way.

The Bretherton Brigade programme is designed to provide every child and young person opportunities to take part in a wide range of activities, learn new skills and develop existing skills. Brigade is fun, exciting, and safe.

This weekly group is open to everyone and offers a warm, welcoming space to spend as much or as little time as you like. Enjoy a hot drink and a snack, share friendly conversation, join in a game, pick up a book, or simply take a quiet moment to relax — the choice is yours.

We're excited to announce our brand new church choir! A relaxed and joyful time to learn and practise both traditional and modern songs of praise, with the hope of sharing our music in Sunday worship as we grow in confidence together.

Children aged 11+, are offered a safe and welcoming place to meet, make friends, and have fun. Sessions include lively youth games, sharing food together, and space to talk about topics that matter to them.

The group gets involved in serving both the local and wider community. The group contributes by serving refreshments to the congregation and raising money and resources for local charities.
